Emerson had tubes put in her ears on Thursday due to the chronic ear infections and she did great. She went with all of the nurses & didn't even cry when they carried her back for her 5 minute operation (which was by far the most stressful for me). We were back home by late morning and she was back to her usual routine of tearing up the house. Fortunately, I was able to stay home as well on Friday thanks to the wind chill advisory & ridiculous temperatures around -20. Way too cold for school! So, we had a day of playing, cleaning the refrigerator, reading, and general infant mayhem.
On Saturday, we got out one of her new toys from Christmas. It's a walker/ride on toy. We're officially encouraging the walking & she is actually doing quite well. Always with a squinty face, she plows that walker all over our house, resembling an intoxicated little squirt who walks without bending her knees. I'll have to put a video of this on later. It is quite funny.
We wrapped our weekend up with a play date with Charlie and Sophia.

Go Emerson go! Love that she's sharing the word of Hello Bee with friends.
